Originally joined the Northumberland Fusiliers (11022) & transferred to the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve
Served at Gallipoli with Anson Battalion, Royal Naval Division & suffered a Gun Shot Wound in his right wrist about 7/5/15
Later transferred to the Western Front
Wounded in his left shoulder in France 13/11/16 when the 63rd RND attacked Beaucourt on the Ancre Heights, Somme
Awarded 21 days Field Punishment No.1 on 3/8/17
After striking an officer 30/9/17 he was tried by Field General Court Martial & sentenced to 18 months hard labour 15/10/17
However, his sentence was commuted & he was then wounded for a 3rd time - a serious Gun Shot Wound to his forearm - 26/10/17
Finally 'certified dangerous' & discharged as Insane 17/6/18
