UNOFFICIAL 'CHRISTMAS 1918' SPORTS MEDALLION

Ottoman Turkish silver 20 Kurush coin (35mm diameter) with suspension ring.

Obverse: Large tughra (Sultan’s calligraphic monogram) encircled by crescents & stars.

Reverse: Erased & privately engraved: ‘LLAQLAQ.IS SPORTS – CHIRSTMAS 1918 – TUG OF WAR’ (as spelt).

Presumably made in a Middle Eastern bazaar at the end of WW1.

CASED R.A.O.B. 'TRAFALGAR LODGE' JEWEL

Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Hallmarked Silver Gilt & Enamel Jewel in 'Cashmore & Co' presentation case.

Obverse: 'Justice Truth Philanthropy' Medal with 'RAOB-GLE' embroidered ribbon on 'PRIMO' & 'Trafalgar Lodge' hallmarked suspenders.

Reverse: Hallmark & engraved 'Presented to Bro.H.C.RUSHMAN - Installed to Second Degree by the Trafalgar Lodge No. 6117 - Aug 14, 1929'

I have not identified this Lodge, but it may be in Buffaloes' Jersey Province.

ROYAL MASONIC HOSPITAL JEWEL (Hallmarked Silver)

BRO R.WESTBROOK No.35

Permanent Steward’s Jewel, designed by C.L.J. Doman.
The ribbon is in the dark and light blue of Craft masonry and the design shows humanity succouring the sick. The motto, 'Aegros Sanat Humanitas' means ‘Kindness Heals the Sick’. The five pointed Masonic star and the interlaced letters ‘FH’ (Freemasons Hospital) complete the design. The Jewel was first issued in silver, engraved on the reverse with the donor’s name and lodge number.

Tabak Pfeife Kronprinz Marke 'The soldier’s favourite pipe for army and navy'

A WW1 period German handmade pipe bowl produced by the C.G.Reich Pfeifenfabrik, a Thuringen pipe factory founded in 1887.

A German WW1 Landser / Soldat is illustrated on one side, whilst the other side has an image of the Prussian Crown Prince Wilhelm.

Condition: Un-used, very good condition.
