Commissioned 2nd Lieut, Kings Own Scottish Borderers in September 1914
To France 16/1/17 & served with 2nd K.O.S.B.
KIA F&F 19/5/17 at Roclincourt by a shell from a long-range gun
Buried in Roclincourt Military Cemetery, France
