Served with the 13th Bantam Battalion, Yorkshire Regt in France between 1916 & 1918 &/or in North Russia 1918-19
Note: The 13th Yorkshire Regiment was raised at Richmond as a Bantam Battalion in July 1915. To France 6/6/16 & served as Bantams on the Western Front until 6/5/18 Returned to UK before sailing from Dundee 17/10/18 for service in Russia. Arrived at Murmansk 27/11/18 & served in North Russia until 31/8/19. One company of the 13th Yorkshire Regt was on the Archangel-Vologda Railway Front & saw quite a bit of fighting.
