Granted a commission 'for service in the field' to become 2nd Lieutenant, 11th Liverpool Regt 6/11/15
Later served with the Machine Gun Corps
His 1919 address was 373 Cumberland Street, Glasgow
Married Isabella Paterson Hobbs at Cathcart, Glasgow 1944
Died Cathcart, Glasgow 4/3/57
