In 1934 he was part of Colfe's Grammar School Cross-Country team & as well as coming 3rd in the High Jump, he also competed in the 100 yards & the 220 yards open races
In September 1939 he was a General Engineer living at 64 Firhill Road, Catford, Lewisham
By 1942 he was serving with the Royal Navy
Commissioned Temporary Sub-Lieutenant R.N.V.R. 29/9/45
Post-war he lived at 11 The Heights, Church Road, Haywards Heath West
Died 15/4/94
