Henry Tertias Montague Roberts
Born Tonbridge, Kent 14/11/1894
Educated at Denstone College, Staffs where he was a member of the OTC
Commissioned 2nd Lieut 13/10/14 in the Royal Lancaster Regiment
Later Captain with 2nd British West Indies Regiment from 21/2/16
Note: This Battalion was only raised 1/1/16
Served in Egypt where he was admitted to a Military Hospital 18/2/18
His post-war address was 45 Moorpool Avenue, Harborne, Birmingham
In September 1939 he was a Manufacturer's Agent staying at the Grafton Hotel, Tottenham Court Road, London W1
Note: His son, Flight-Sgt Noel Vernon Roberts RAF (VR), died in Burma 11/1/45, was buried in the Rangoon War Cemetery & is commemorated on a Nat West Bank War Memorial- Click here
He may have been a Mason who was associated with the Caernofon Lodge in North Wales & the Hendon Lodge in Londo during the 1940s & 1950s
