To France 12/8/14 with 1st King's (Liverpool Regiment) & qualified for the 'Aug-Nov 1914' Clasp
Suffered a Bullet Wound in his left forearm 24/10/14 near St.Jean during the First Battle of Ypres
Sent back to Blighty 27/10/14
After recuperating he returned to France 29/6/15
Awarded 14 days Field Punishment No.1 on 2/12/17
Later transferred as 480202 Pte, Labour Corps
With 2 x Medal Index Cards & over 30 x A4 Printed Pages of his Soldiers Papers (some duplication)
