Returned to Blighty with the loss of sight in his left eye & a loss of memory 19/3/15
Discharged 29/8/16 & was awarded the Silver War Badge
Post-WW1 he lived at 709 Ashton New Road, Clayton, Manchester
Submitted application for his 'Aug-Nov 1914' Clasp in 1928 in order to join the Old Contemptibles Association
With copy of his Medal Index Card, Silver War Badge Roll & 16 page Digital File of his Soldiers Papers
