Admitted to 14th Field Ambulance & transferred to No.8 Casualty Clearing Station, Ballieul 23/6/15
The following day he DOW F&F 24/6/15
Buried in Dickebusch New Military Cemetery, Belgium
Also commemorated on Babbacombe 1914-1918 War Memorial
His widow, Gertrude Mary Mathers remarried to become Mrs Jeffery & continued to live at 18 St.Anne's Road, Babbacombe
