They then held this objective against German counter attacks until being withdrawn on 3/7/16
Wounded on the Somme & admitted to No.34 Casualty Clearing Station 3/7/16
Later promoted Sergeant, 1st Manchester Regt etc
With copy of his Medal Index Card & MH106 Medical Record, plus 7 page Digital File of his Pension Cards & 2 Medal Rolls
