Note: The 9th Scottish Rifles & 11th Royal Scots attacked the western side of Longueval at 3.25am on 14/7/16. Fierce fighting continued in the more heavily fortified northern part of Longueval village & the adjacent Delville Wood throughout the day, with 9th Division suffering heavy casualties
