Posted to 18th 'Public Works' Battalion, MIDDLESEX REGT, the 33rd Divisional Pioneers
Fatally wounded at Dickebusch 7/5/18
One week later he DOW F&F 15/5/18 at No.13 Casualty Clearing Station
Buried in Arneke British Cemetery, France
His widow, Alice Mary Barber, applied for his medals & gave her address as 5 Hereford Road, Southsea
