Was an Architect when he was initiated into the Masonic Lodge of Loyalty, Marlborough 1908
Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, 6th South Wales Borderers 11/2/15
To France 24/9/15 with 6th Pioneer Battalion, South Wales Borderers
Invalided back to Blighty during the winter of 1915-16
Discharged & was awarded the Silver War Badge 19/10/16
His address was 6 Melrose Road, Merton Park, London SW19 in 1922
In September 1939 he was on the Army Reserve of Officers & an Insurance Agent living at 40 Grand Avenue, Keymer, Cuckfield, Sussex
Promoted Flying Officer RAF 12/12/40
Died Chelsea 1953
