Re-joined his old regiment at the outbreak of war 17/8/14 & was renumbered 6208
To France 25/11/14 at the age of 42 & was posted 2nd Border Regiment
Wounded & returned to Blighty 4/1/15
Admitted to No.2 Northern General Hospital, Leeds 7/1/15
Rejoined his battalion in France 25/5/15
Transferred to 827 Area Employment Company, Labour Corps 29/11/17
Posted 736 Area Employment Company, Labour Corps 1/3/18
Posted to the N.C.L.C. 1/3/18
Served on the Western Front until 21/11/18
To Class 'P' Army Reserve 26/11/18
Re-enlisted 6/6/19 & was renumbered 701647
Finally demobilised 26/4/20
