Son of Nelson Suckling Milnes Atkinson & Emmeline Augusta Veijseij
Moved from Holland to Wales circa 1904-8 & then lived at Newport, Monmouthshire
Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant 5/5/15
To France 5/10/15
Served with 6th Wiltshire Regiment & for some time was attached to 48th Trench Mortar Battery
Suffered Gun Shot Wounds to his head & right leg on the Somme 14/10/16
Evacuated on 'Trip 36' of 31st Ambulance Train from Puchevillers 16/10/16 & arrived at Boulogne 17/10/16
Later served as Captain, 104th Rifles & then with 3rd Worcester Regiment in India from circa 1920 until November 1924
Finally served with 2nd Beds.& Herts.Regt in Iraq
By 1929 he had moved to Canford Magna, Dorset
Died Worthing, Sussex 1966
