Commissioned Temporary Inspector of Works & Honorary Lieut 1/6/15
Served in France 16/9/16 & served with 113th Company, Royal Engineers
Admitted to 31st Ambulance Train with a hernia 19/4/17
Returned to Blighty & then admitted to Queen Alexandra's Military Hospital at Millbank 1/5/17
In September 1919, shortly after his demobilisation, he became Divisional Director of Industrial Training of disabled soldiers in Newcastle
He represented the Thames Valley Branch of the Council for the Preservation of Rural England in the 1930s
In September 1939 he was a Retired Civil Engineer & Special Constable (Sergeant?) living at 45 Church Road, Worthing, Sussex
Stood as the Worthing Ratepayer's League representative in 1945
Died East Preston, Sussex 2/10/48
