He appears to have been married 3 times - firstly to Alice Ann Nickson in 1901, then to Violet Lilian Gough in 1921 & finally to Ada Victoria Peacock
In September 1939 he was a Lawn Tennis Coach living at 14 Mornington Road, Cheadle, Cheshire & his 3rd wife (Ada) was a Lawn Tennis Coach & Ice Skating Instructor
