Note: 189th Night Training Squadron arrived at Sutton's Farm, Hornchurch on 1st April 1918, the day the RAF was formed from the RFC & RNAS. This airfield was under the command of 49 Wing, whose headquarters were housed at Upminster Hall, now Upminster Golf Club.
