Wounded in the back by Anti-Aircraft fire over Chambrey, N.E.France whist flying as Observer in an R.E.8 (Serial A3447) 30/5/18
The following day he DOW 31/5/18 at the French Field Ambulance, Epernay
Buried in the British Plot at Epernay French National/Military Cemetery (Hopital Auban-Moet)
In 1964 his remains were exhumed & re-interred in Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, France
Also commemorated in the UK on Peterborough & District War Memorial Hospital, Cambridgeshire
