To France 21/12/14 & served in the Army Veterinary Corps
Later transferred to V/5 Trench Mortar Battery, R.F.A. & served as a Gunner (155407)
Accidentally wounded & his arm was amputated
Discharged Physically Unfit 16/9/18 & was entitled to a Silver War Badge
