Then enlisted in the R.F.A. 17/10/05
To France 19/8/14 as a Driver in the Royal Field Artillery & served with 28th Battery on the Western Front
Note: 28th Battery was a pre-war Regular Army unit, part of IX Brigade R.F.A.
Treated for a leg abrasion at No.12 Stationary Hospital, Rouen & then transferred to C C Rouen 25/3/15
Later transferred to the Labour Corps (575261)
In 1920 he was living in Newfoundland Road, Bristol
Died Bristol 21/1/41 & is buried in St.George's Churchyard, Bristol
