Officially 'Wounded but remained at duty' when he ruptured his groin whilst lifting the trail eye of a 6" Howitzer whilst in Action at Le Cateau 3/9/18
Invalided to Blighty with Influenza 6/2/19
Also diagnosed as suffering from Neurasthenia
Transferred to 11th Fire Command RGA in 1919
To 'Section B' Army Reserve 13/6/21

In September 1939 he was an Assurance Clerk & Agent living at 31 Headington Road, Wandsworth & was also recorded as a L.C.C.School Manager
