Born Wood Green, Middlesex 16/10/1889
To France 16/8/14 as Trooper, 2nd Life Guards & qualified for the ‘Aug-Nov 1914’ Clasp
Admitted to No.3 Casualty Clearing Station suffering with scabies 22/1/15
Later suffered a Gun Shot Wound in his left thigh & admitted to 6th Cavalry Field Ambulance 30/6/17
Then transferred to No.34 Casualty Clearing Station 1/7/17
Later served with the Guards Machine Gun Regiment (4465)
In September 1939 he was a Civil Servant in the Ministry of Pensions who lived at 152 Manor Road, Mitcham & he also served with the Fire Service
Died at Combermere, Kemp Road, Whitstable, Kent 25/3/56
