To France 14/8/14 with 2nd South Lancashire Regiment
Awarded 8 days Field Punishment No.1 for 'picking a quarrel with French soldiers' 3/11/14
Later tried by Field General Court Martial for 'Drunkenness on Active Service' 25/11/14 - he was sentence was imprisonment with Hard Labour for 1 year, but after 12 days in prison, his sentence was commuted to one of 3 months Field Punishment No.1
Suffered a severe Gun Shot Wound in his foot (self-inflict) & was admitted to No.12 Stationary Hospital, Rouen 10/1/15
Returned to Blighty 14/1/15
Went back out to France 11/8/15
Transferred to 784th Area Employment Company, Labour Corps 12/1/18
Transferred to Class 'Z' Army Reserve 31/3/19 & was in receipt of a War Pension
Died Kilkenny, Ireland 2/1/57
With 2 x Medal Index Card plus a 7 page Digital File of his Soldiers Papers & supporting documentation
