Educated at Monkton Combe & King's College, London
Assoc.M.Inst.C.E. (War Office) 15/11/14
To France 21/11/14 as Honorary Lieutenant & temporary Inspector of Works the on staff of General Sir A.M.Stuart, Director of Works
Promoted to Inspector of Works with rank of Honorary Captain 13/3/15
Later he worked as assistant to C.R.E. Camps and Roads, Headquarters, Aldershot, 1918-19
