Born Landport 1881
Educated at Epsom College & Durham University where he qualified as a Doctor M.B., B.S. 1905
Then Guys Hospital, London M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. 1905
Commissioned Lieut, 3rd Wessex Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps -T.F. in 1912
Practiced pre-war in Portsmouth & was a member of the well-known family of Doctors
As a pioneer of Radio Telegraphy he was the first amateur in Portsmouth to establish his own wireless station
Promoted Captain 4/9/14
To France 6/11/14 & qualified for the Aug-Nov 1914 Clasp
Served on the Western Front as Captain, 266th Wessex Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps
After the war he returned to Portsmouth, where he ultimately practiced as a Doctor for over 40 years
Died Portsmouth 9/4/56
