Taken Prisoner of War 25/10/14 near Kruiseecke in the Ypres Salient south of Hooge when 2nd Scots Guards companies were surrounded by the Germans
DIED GERMANY 4/8/18 in POW Camp Hospital Arolsen, Kassel, due to a cerebral abscess
Buried in Niederzwehren Cemetery, Kassel, Germany
