Promoted Lieutenant & served on the Somme with 80th Field Company R.E, part of 18th (Eastern) Division
KIA F&F 23/3/18 during the German Spring Advance
Buried in the Chauny Communal Cemetery British Extension, south of St.Quentin, France
Also commemorated on the Minehead War Memorial
