Moved pre-war to 57 Manor Park, Redland, Bristol
Worked as a Bank Clerk in Bristol
Enlisted into the 26th 'Bankers' Battalion, Royal Fusiliers 11/10/15
Qualified as a Bomber & served on the Western Front for 3 months from Spring 1917
Suffered a Gun Shot Wound in his right leg at Ploegsteert, south of Ypres 30/6/16
Discharged to commission as Second Lieutenant, Machine Gun Corps 25/5/17
Served with 22nd M.G. Company in France from 8/10/17
Then moved with 22nd Company MGC to Italy 12/3/18
Later served with 7th Battalion MGC until 11/10/18
Returned sick to Blighty 1/11/18
Promoted Lieutenant 26/11/18
Released from Military Duty 10/1/19
Relinquished his commission 1/9/21
His post-war his address was 7 Crimicar Lane, Fulwood, Sheffield
In September 1939 he was a Bank Manager living at 'The Grove', Pontypool, Monmouthshire, Wales
Died at Weston-super-Mare 2/11/67
