Awarded the Military Cross for Gallipoli (MC LG 3/6/16)

First Mention in Dispatches by General Sir Charles Munro for Gallipoli (MID LG 13/7/16: 'for distinguished and gallant services during the period of General Sir Charles Munro's Command of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force' )

Next served with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force from 19/3/16 to 15/10/16

Then served with 25th Cavalry (Frontier Force) in British, German & Portuguese East Africa, Nyasaland & North Rhodesia from 29/8/17 to 4/2/18

Second Mention in Dispatches by General Sir Charles Munro for his service in East Africa with the Indian Cavalry (MID LG 28/7/19: 'for the part taken by India... in the prosecution of the war' when General Sir Charles Munro was Commander-in-Chief of India.

Married Florence Emma Mary Gall (4/6/69 - 8/6/51)

In the 1939 Register, Laurence Gall was a property agent living with Florence at 6 Biddulph Road, London W9 (later they move to 12 Biddulph Road.)

In WW2 he was an ARP Warden for Paddington.

When his wife died in 1951 he was living at 48 Circus Road Mansions.

Died at Hastings in 1973.
