To France 5/4/18 as a boy of 18, sent out during the German Spring Offensive emergency.

Served with the 1/18th 'LONDON IRISH' until the Armistice on 11/11/18.

The 1939 Register records that he was a Postman at the GPO Eastern Central Delivery Office & living at 103 Goldsmith Avenue, East Ham, Essex.

Died 1973 in the City of London.
